Context + Clarity = Communication Gold

  I used to think being a good communicator just meant saying the right thing. You know, speak passionately, throw in a few clever points, and voilĂ , everyone gets it, right? Not exactly. Over time, I realized that even the most inspiring words can completely miss the mark if people don’t understand them, connect with them, or remember them. The secret to making your message stick? Two things: context and clarity. When these work together, that’s what I call communication gold. Let’s start with clarity. It’s easy to assume people will just get it, but clarity is about more than just talking. It’s about keeping it simple. I used to jam-pack conversations or talks with tons of ideas, thinking more was better. Spoiler: it wasn’t. People walked away confused, overwhelmed, or only remembering random bits.
